Description
We will meet outside the National Museum at 2:30 p.m. Ready to discover one of the places most feared by Czechs in the past? We will walk to the Palace of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, former headquarters of the Gestapo in Prague. We will access the basement of this place, used during the six years of Nazi occupation by the Gestapo. We will take the same route that the detainees, interrogated and tortured by the SS did in the Czech Republic: the waiting room, the interrogation room, the isolation cells and even the torture rooms. Then summary documentation of the parachute commands, and types of concentration camps. During the visit, we will learn about the most important moments of the Second World War, necessary to analyze the background of the crimes committed during the times of the Gestapo in the Czech capital. Who orchestrated them? Who were the executioners? Furthermore, we will understand the reasons that have led the Czechs to retain the headquarters. Why go back and hold on to the dark memories of the past? Remember that “those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Finally, we will visit the crypt of the church of Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius, the place chosen by the soldiers who attacked the butcher of Prague, Reinhard Heydrich. The guided tour will end at 4:30 p.m.Includes
Spanish-speaking tourist guide throughout the visit. Entrance to the former Gestapo headquarters. Entrance to the church of Cyril and Method.Easy cancellation
