As Prague was developing and becoming richer during the second half of the 19th Century, companies, banks and wealthy real estate owners wanted to show off their new status. As a result, many buildings were reconstructed or enlarged in the new architectural styles from the 1880s to 1914. Your guide shows you the best examples, rare pieces and magnificent buidlings in the Old Town and the New Town built in the new styles. Cubism in architecture is something that you won't find easily in any other city around the world. Your guide will show you the great examples of Cubist buildings and other street elements in the center of Prague. After the tour, you can go to the Museum of Czech Cubism by yourself.
